Are you up to date on the knowledge and task requirements?

Today, ISACA released a new practices statement for the governanceof Enterprise IT.

The job practice domains and task and knowledge statements are as follows:

Domain 1: Framework for the Governance of Enterprise IT (25%)
Domain 2: Strategic Management (20%)
Domain 3: Benefits Realization (16%)
Domain 4: Risk Optimization (24%)
Domain 5: Resource Optimization (15%)

The percentage indicates the weighting for the exam quotation and is associated with the importance of the practices.

The published Task and Knowledge statements highlight the body of knowledge and expertise that should ideally be mastered by those having executive, managerial or operational responsibilities over IT.

Staying up to date is a sound continuous education for IT Executives, auditors, architects and project managers.

Suhsil Chatterji developed the first body of knowledge back in 2008. He was assisted by Professor Georges Ataya who suprervised and reviewed the document that eventually became the first CGEIT review manual.

Both Sushil and Georges are associates of ICT Control SA NV and are involved in education at the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management.
