Why Enterprise Architecture discipline has not become an integral part of an Organization's operating fabric despite :

• having  mature EA methodology (TOGAF TM) that is an accepted framework for developing  Enterprise Architecture in Global 2000 Organizations

• businesses that repeatedly delivering poor ROI from new investments in business/IT transformation and weak results in reducing business-as-usual costs
• consistent investment in EA  staff, education, EA artifacts, repositories and tools

In contrast, disciplines such as Project Management and IT Service Management have  achieved significant maturity and  captured the attention of key stakeholder’s in the organization.
